General Safety Rules
Supervision & Safety
- Children must be supervised by their responsible adult at all times
- Our facility is best suited for children from walking age to 6 years old
- No running in the play area
- Please report any accidents to staff immediately so we can provide necessary assistance
- Please report any damaged equipment to staff
Health & Wellness
- Children who are or have been ill must refrain from visiting for 48 hours
- If your child develops a fever within 48 hours of your scheduled visit, please contact us 24 hours in advance to reschedule
- Please inform our Play Attendants of any allergies, disabilities, or medical conditions we should be aware of
Footwear & Attire
- The play area is a no-shoe zone
- Socks must be worn at all times by everyone (available for purchase if needed)
- For medical footwear accommodations, please contact us before your visit
Timing & Arrival
- Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled session
- Doors remain locked between sessions for cleaning and preparation
- During inclement weather, early arrival is permitted but please remain in the café area
- Standard sessions last 90 minutes, (80 minute session and 10 minutes for cleanup).
- On occasion, we do offer extended PLAY sessions. These special sessions may or may not be offered at our standard rates, and may vary through-out the year.
- Late arrivals may join their remaining session time (no refunds/discounts provided)
- All visitors must exit the play area at their designated end time
Food & Beverage Policy
- No food or drinks allowed in the play area
- Only food purchased on-premises may be consumed
- Exceptions made for special dietary requirements (contact us in advance)
- We are a cashless facility
Photography & Privacy
- Photos may only be taken of your own children
- Please respect other families’ privacy when taking pictures
Parking
- On-site parking available on first-come, first-served basis
- Play Muskegon is not liable for any vehicle damage or theft
Prohibited Items & Activities
- No smoking or e-cigarettes
- No outside food or beverages (unless pre-approved)
- No running
- No face paint, confetti, or glitter (for parties/events)
Tickets, Reservations, & Memberships
- All tickets are non-refundable
- Tickets include entry only (food, drinks, and retail purchases not included)
- Session transfers allowed with 3-day advance notice
- We are a cashless facility
- Walk-in availability varies and is not guaranteed
- When purchasing tickets for others, please ensure they are aware of our policies
- Yearly memberships are tied to one specific child.
- Memberships are January to January and are non-refundable.
Capacity & Booking
- Sessions have limited capacity
- Online bookings required 2 days in advance
- Each person (child and adult) counts toward session capacity
Party Guidelines
- Host is responsible for any intentional damage during party sessions
- Outside decorations permitted (no glitter, confetti, or face paint)
- Outside contractors (decorators, caterers, etc.) must contact us in advance
- Party packages are non-refundable
Right to Refuse Service
- Play Muskegon reserves the right to refuse admission or ask customers to leave at any time
- Abusive language or behavior towards staff or other customers will result in immediate removal without refund
- Play Muskegon may close at any time for safety and security (refunds/transfers will be issued)
Liability
- Play Muskegon is not liable for lost or damaged personal belongings
- Valuables should be kept with you at all times
- Play Muskegon accepts no liability for parking lot incidents or vehicle damage
